I've applied to Bristol's standard maths course but was considering asking to change to the maths with a year in continental Europe if I were to be given an offer. Has anyone had any experience with this particular degree course? If so, how is the balance between the language and math units in the course.
Also, Bristol does not seem to specify what proficiency you need before joining the course. Do you need any qualification or is the language studied ab initio? I would be looking at French which I am fairly proficient in but have only picked up in the last few months, hence I do not study a-level but am probably at a-level standard.
    Merci Beaucoup
