So I wanted to interrupt my studies in December because I am flopping due to some things that went wrong in first term. They were sympathetic and said I could leave and come back in September. I said ok but for them to 'keep me on the books' until January so that I can get my loan installment to pay off some rent arreas. They however said that they can't do that because it would be dishonest to the university and if I am leaving I must leave now. As I really needed that money I just told them ok I'll stay with the secret aim of leaving in January. Normally It wouldn't matter what they thought but I kind of wanted to return in September. Do you think they can kick me out for good for this? It's stupid really because whether they had agreed or not I could just pretend and then leave anyway which is what I am doing. I just wished they would have just went along with it.
