oh dont work yourself up sooo much just write the first things that come into your head what do you notice? presentation features?heading sub heading? what you could do to revise is get a newspaper and begin analysing it.you notice a pattern in all the english papers they tend to have the same qs so what yiu could do is answer them take out 3 articles and analyse write up all the qs in the time slot of 2h15mins

You don't need any past exams papers! All you need are sources - pick two news article like sources and one story-like source, if you catch my drift. And then you simply answer questions on the articles.
The questions are literally identical in each paper (well, for the reading section, anyway.)
1) What are the main points the writer of Source 1 makes?/What can you learn from the article about.. (for example, rainfall)?
2) How are the headline, sub-heading and image effective in Source 2 and how do they link with the text?
3) Explain some of the thoughts and feelings that [enter character(s) here] have in Source 3.
4) Compare the ways the writers use language for effect. (Usually you're given one source to analyse and then you can pick the other source.)
There are past papers on the AQA website though, with the mark schemes and sources: http://web.aqa.org.uk/qual/newgcses/...ials.php?id=01
I have the exact same exam!
Good luck!Last edited by laylarose; 03-01-2013 at 15:37.
