I'm interested in society's view of sex and sexuality. I'm not posting this to demonise anybody. Votes are private. Feel free to justify your votes in a post.

You've got 'Extra-marital sex'. I'd be more embarrassed about the spelling mistakes

I think what makes this interesting is the distinction between "perverted" and "abnormal."

To me, the word abnormal simply implies something uncommon in this context, not necessarily what I would think of as wrong. An orgy isn't particularly what I would consider a normal sexual act, but it's certainly not something I would consider perverted.

As far as answering the poll goes, the only things I've marked are those where participants aren't able to consent, which is where I draw a line (as well as at harm to other people). Otherwise, I have the right to think what you do is weird, but I have no place to tell you that what you're doing is wrong or to stop it just because I personally wouldn't do it myself. I'd never want to take part in scat play, but if you do and that's your thing, it's not my place to stop you.

By definition everything in that list is abnormal except inter-marital sex, maybe oral too

Oral is an interesting one. Everyone does it, yet it's essentially cannibalism. It's strange. Lust can really blind people.

I don't think its really cannibalism because you are not actually eating the other persons genitals, but you are just stimulating them with youre tongue. Although i do agree with u to an extent that oral is disgusting when you sit and think about it, but yeh everyone will still do it anyway.

I meant the consumption of sperm as cannibalism.

    Perverted and/or abnormal.

    Perverted
    Adjective
(of a person or their actions) Characterized by sexually abnormal and unacceptable practices or tendencies.
(of a thing) Having been corrupted or distorted from its original course, meaning, or state.

    Abnormal
    Adjective
Deviating from what is normal or usual, typically in a way that is undesirable.

I am a necrophile. It brings me great pain because I feel it distances me from normal people. Although necrophillia does not harm anybody because the cadaver is dead, it is still viewed as taboo in society. A lot of this I actually blame society for, like autopsies for instance. I found out about autopsies when I was 17 and from then on there was no going back. A lot of people don't know about autopsies and how the cadaver is treated worse than a piece of meat, so a lot of people are ignorant about the whole process. The pathogolgist can violate every last dignity of the cadaver in question without consequence which he wouldn't be able to do while they were alive. A good autopsy of an attractive young woman gets me going more than nude pictures of live women. I've watched several autopsy videos on Youtube and seen countless death photos/autopsy photos as well. After I have masturbated I feel like such a miserable person, but the ecstasy leading up to the act and during is irresistible. It's sick I know, but as long as autopsies and death examinations exist, I will be a necrophile.

If you want to stop it's simple. Either stop masturbating altogether or only masturbate to vanilla porn/imaginations.

Sperm aren't human. How is it cannibalism? It's like drinking other people's bodily fluids - odd but not canibalism. I wouldn't define Dracula as a cannibal.

Semen is a fluid, but I considered the sperm to be flesh.

To me, the female body is beautiful alive or dead, whole or disemboweled. The thought of a middle aged or old pathologist with his hands on the cadaver of a firm young woman are just too arousing to ignore. Plus you know that he is going to play with her tits (ahem, "examine" them, ofcourse:rolleyes:) her vag, hymen, clit, anus, etc, no dignity goes unviolated. You would think these are the rantings of someone sick in the head but look at autopsy videos they are all on Youtube, type female autopsy into Google it's all there for you to see. It's like theres no end to the depravity, I hate it but love it at the same time.

Heh, I love the way you've taken something so dark and lightened it up with one of the Peep Show actors You would be surprised how such a dark fetish can make you feel down from time to time.

I don't quite know why you think this. I would be interested in seeing scientific evidence to back you up for this..

You also forgot to add a "None of these" box, so I couldn't answer the poll.

I do not view any of the above desires as perverted or morally wrong, because it is natural. For example, I'm not saying people should be allowed to have sex with children (they can't consent) but it is perfectly natural to be attracted to children.

With regard to the acts within the poll (necrophilia is an attraction, oral is an act), I have no qualms with any of them because they all involve consenting adults.

Incest is fine because even though it's not the norm, both adults are consenting. People argue that incest is rightly outlawed because you will create retarded children - if you say that, then you are agreeing that disabled people should not be allowed to have sex either. (The outcome is the same for both.)

Equally, I think prostitution should be legal because it involves consenting adults. You might find it disgusting that people sell themselves for sex, but at the end of the day, the prostitute is happy to give the sex and the consumer is happy to give the money.

Surely not? The normal view is that attraction to pre-pubesents is unnatural because they can't reproduce, and coupled with the rarity of this attraction (even out of the small number labelled peadophiles, many are actually ehebophiles, that is they are attracted to adolescents, below the age of the consent but past puberty) and the odd characteristics of those who have it, I'd say it's a pretty reasonable conclusion.

Just because it's not necessarily an evolutionary advantage doesn't mean it is not natural. No one can decide who they are attracted to, so I consider that natural.
In the same way that gay genes have been found, I would not at all be surprised if they found some sort of brain dysfunction to explain paedophilia.

Your claim of 'this is a rare condition, so it's a reasonable conclusion that it is not natural' is absurd. I have a friend who has a mental and bodily illness that is unique to him and two other people in the world; by your logic, because his illness is so rare, it should not be considered natural. Nor, of course, should other rare illnesses that are not 'caught'.

Not only is the logic obviously unsound, but it makes no sense anyway. "Natural" does not mean "normal" (average).

So literally everything that exists is natural then? I was using the word natural in the sense of "as intended by nature". So a person having six fingers isn't natural, that isn't to say it doesn't occur in nature, but that it isn't what is supposed to happen in nature.

I'm not saying my definition is right and yours is wrong, but surely in this context mine is the more appropriate, otherwise the question is pointless because the answer will always be, as you have shown, "no, that's natural"?
