    Yes I would, but I'd rather have my own children first.

    Hopefully I get into the Royal Marines as an Officer, and the first place I will go to for my tour will be the country where I will adopt my baby.

    I'd definitely like to adopt, but I'd really like to have biological children also (I hate the term 'my own children' - if I adopt a child, at whatever age he or she is when I adopt him or her, he or she WILL be 'my own child'). I'd have to plan my family carefully to ensure that the family dynamics were happy and healthy and nobody felt left out or different. I'd quite like to adopt siblings, to help keep kids together who might otherwise get separated. I'd also consider fostering. Every child should grow up in a loving home and it breaks my heart that so many don't

    Hey Guys;

    Well, after thinking when reading a thread, it got me thinking as to whether people would ever consider adoption as a means of becoming a parent or consider fostering at all?

    As in, would you ever consider adoption over having your own children or do your own biological children take priority over any adopted child?

    What would you do?
    I most definitely would consider adoption! I would like to have my own biological children, but would also like to adopt at least one child in addition to my biological child/children. Fostering, however, is not something I think I'd like to do.

    I'm Sorry, I used that term "my own children". I didn't mean to offend you.
