Could somebody please explain to me how UCAS points are considered when universities send out offers.
Currently have 4 Scottish highers grade B.
    Studying 3 A2 LEVELS .
Conditional offers of 260 points with grade c in biology and 280 points from another.

Now what would you say i need to get to fulfill this criteria.

    Thanks in advance

Scottish highers at a B are 65 points each so 260 points

and here is the one for a2

    A2 Points
    A* 140
    A 120
    B 100
    C 80
    D 60
    -- 50
    E 40

all the info you need is on the ucas website here-

    http://www.ucas.com/students/ucas_tariff/tarifftables/

    hope this helped

Thanks for that - trying to work out that if i already have 260 points from highers would a2's count as well or would they be instead
ie only need to get c in biology to meet conditional offer or do i need 260 points from a2 levels
