I was addicted to runescape for about 3-4 years from year 5 to till about year 8ish. I only stopped because my cousin sold my account for fifty quid through paypal. He was like 11 or something!

Bleh I was addicted, I would get emotional if my mum told me to stop, I remember having membership for quite a long time.

I found this kid that was in my class in year 7 somehow and I kept stalking him and scaring the crap out of him telling him I knew where he lived, what he ate at lunch haha. Ok pretty sad life thinking about it now but it was awesome! I only knew boys that played it from my school. If you played it you were 'sad' so yeah no one knew I played it.

I had no friends at school in year 7 so runescape was somewhere where I was happy and I was able to socialise with people that way.

I have so many runescape memories, who remembers the easter bunny?
Chillin in lumbridge with my level 3 crew when I died ^_^
I used to get emosh about dying too, darn.

Did everyone hear what happened to the "nostalgia project" that was 2006Scape/RScape/06Scape?! Bloody brilliant.

Feel a bit bad for the guys that fell for it and donated though :/

Was a great game back in the days. Played it when I was 13-16, not anymore though. Best part of the game was fooling "newbs" into the wilderness and killing them...Mvahahaa... Good old memories.

I miss the old RS. It's a completely different game now.
Indeed, I wasn't around for the original RS, but I started playing shortly after. Here's possibly my favourite highlight or my career, I met this guy in varrock who wanted to buy my granite armour for a large price. Me as excited as ever, decided he was telling the truth and followed him to the wilderness. Here's me thinking "I'm not stupid enough to cross the line...", I saw this huge pile of cash appear from nowhere in there. My mouth watered and I ran to pick it up as soon as I could, until I get ambushed by some PKers. Luckily, I was wearing a ring of life, I managed to escape and found myself in a 10k profit (this was a large amount of money for me) :ahee:

On a serious note I spent a million hours on this game and I do not regret a second of it. I learnt so much about supply & demand, meeting objectives & personal entrepreneurship!

I played from about Y5-Y8. Fishing in Karamja, buying your first Rune set, being able to mine coal in Falador! Wonderful memories. If someone offered £100 for the 250mil I still have in my account I would actually say no.
