Hi, I have an offer from Kent to study History. Are people usually accepted onto this course if they miss their offer or is this rare? I am confident that I will meet my offer, I am just wondering what will happen if I don't.

    Thanks

    Hi Fabulous Killjoy,

Great to hear you have an offer from Kent. If you meet your grades you will be automatically accepted, if not there may be some flexibility depending on a number of factors such as: number of spaces left on the course or how much you missed your grades by. If you do happen to miss your offer, you can check on www.UCAS.com to see if you have been accepted regardless, or if the decision seems to be pending you can call the University for more information.

If neither of your firm or insurance choices are successful then you can go through clearing to find a space on a similar course at the University of Kent.

    Thanks and good luck!
