    yeah I can imagine
sadly I havent got safety marks/extra UMS in Biology, so I need the A my friend on the other hand only needs a low C in this exam for an A overall -so jel!

I dont know much, but I'll give it a shot!

Give an example of where mutations can be beneficial, mutual or harmful
    your friend is so lucky

    1) neutral effects of mutation is where you can smell the honeysuckle flowers and smelling it or not does not give either an advantage or disadvantage mutation , its therefore neutral.Another example is rolling tongues.

    2) advantage is the be able to taste the PCT cause people who can taste it , tastes very bitter and having to much is poisonous so not having this advantage could be dangerous.

    3) disadvantage is having pale skin(white) skin and therefore if skin exposed to sunlight more ultraviolet light and can cause skin cancer.
    4) people with melanin can synthesis vitamin D which is useful for preventing rickets when exposed to sunlight.

    5) people with darker skin can sythesise less vitamin D and can cause rickets and women would result in narrowed pelvis which is dangerous for both child and mother and could lead to death and this is disadvantage?

    Define:chromosome mutation
haha when you look back it it

A chromosome mutation is caused by a change in the structure and also number of chromosomes -sometimes its just parts and other times it can be the whole chromosome

    Explain the process of apoptosis
    yup correct!

    1) apoptosis is a programmed cell death in multicellular organism. Enzyme breaks down the cytoskeleton of the cell.

    2) chromatin condenses and nuclear envelope breaks. Therefore, organelles become tightly packed and become condensed.DNA is broken down into fragments.
    3) the cell surface membrane changes shape slightly and forms blebs and these blebs are disposed as vesicles. Vesicles contain the digestive enzymes and are enclosed in vesicles which do not affect other tissues/cells in body. Also, cell surface membrane breaks occassionaly. Phagocytosis ingests and engulfs the dead cells by endocytosis.
    5) this process happens very fast
