i have got conditional offers from Uni of Bristol and UEA to study English Literature.
i LOVE UEA'S course and was generally pleased with the campus and the area.
But, Bristol is a fantastic University as well. but i have not had the chance to see it. Though i like how close it is to the city.
what is everyones thoughts and experiences with these uni's and their english lit courses?

Read the two different course descriptions carefully, look at the different choices of units/modules (including years 2 & 3). Are there topics that you would want to do? Check what 'extras' are available - units from other courses/subjects (ie. drama, foreign literatures), Year or Semester Abroad etc.

Dont get hung up on 'prestige' or 'reputation' of the Uni - this counts for nothing if you are totally bored with what you are studying for three years.

There are some videos etc of Bristol Open Days on You Tube - worth looking at. And if you are able to get to Bristol at any time outside of formal Open Days etc : http://www.bris.ac.uk/university/vis...ive-tours.html

I study English at UEA and can promise you it is the best decision I have ever made. If you have any questions regarding particulars of the course, just PM me and I'll be happy to help
Do you think parents should charge rent?
