I'm not sure if 2013 entry requirement have been published yet? But is this a possibility? Or am I being too hopeful?

    Thanks

It's very hard to say. This is because

    - no university will want to publicly drop its entrance requirements, as that will show that it is struggling to attract enough applicants
    - there are funding implications for taking students with grades less than AAB (although I think this is now changing to ABB)
    - grade inflation will counteract some of the effect of reduced applicant numbers
    - some universities, particularly the best universities, have seen smaller drops in applicant numbers, and I can't remember if it was Oxford or Cambridge, but one of them actually saw a slight rise
