Where can I buy a personal attack alarm / rape alarm?

    Any recommended brands/types?

If you search it on amazon/ebay, there are plenty of results. In my experience, even if you have one, it's unlikely that you'll use it unless you have it in your hands or an easily accessible place at all times, because if you are attacked, it's unlikely that you'll have time to faff around in your bag for ages. I was given one, and I must admit, I've never used it. x
