I put this in another subforum but it's kinda quiet there. I'm retaking my GCSE Maths at an adult college (I'm 22). We had 3 weeks off during Xmas and I'm looking back at the work and the homework and I'm actually freaking out a bit at how much I've forgotten. Alot of information just feels washed away now. I don't know if I'm just tired or something. I'm just panicking a bit .... anyone had a similar situation like this?

No. I remember things because my brain isn't remedial.

I think you may just be anxious. Look over the past topics and make notes to help you. Try the homework and keep applying your knowledge - what about looking at BBC bitesize and other websites to brush up on topics.

Every single exam time of every single semester of every single year of my 5 year uni course. I'd learn a subject for 4 months, start to revise and realise I'm not revising at all - I'm learning it all for the first time. I honestly think the university method of learning has worsened my memory, forcing a disgusting amount of stuff in it, needing it for a week max, then pushing it out to make room for the next 5 subjects for the next semester...

Anyway, you'll be fine. Study hard and good luck.
