    Hello everyone!

I know they is a lot of recycling old mobile phones schemes but does anyone know of any recycling old discs..

Maybe like a supermarket or something. I have found lots of discs and it seems a waste to just throw them in a bin when they could be recycled and used again!

Maybe if the CD's are in boxes and still work you could see if any local charities want them, so they can sell them and raise money?

    Nah they aren't...

They were just in them like cd file things (don't know what you call them) and wanted rid of them

Ahh okay fair enough! Maybe asking in a supermarket would be a good idea, they might be able to do something with them... another idea is you could go to your local tip, as my local tip seems to have a different section for recycling everything!

Also, does anyone know how old a phone has to be before it is automatically recycled? I have an old phone here and I think some messages/photos may be left on however I have taken the sim card and memory card out but I have no way of checking..as I have not got a charger.

The phone is about 4-5 years old..Not a smartphone or anything.
