I'm looking at studying International Relations.
These are all the ones that offer the course:

    Queen Mary, University of London
Richmond, The American International University in London
    University of Westminster
    London Metropolitan University
London School of Economics and Political Science (University of London)
King's College London (University of London)
    Kingston University

    Which are the "best"?

London Metropolitan doesn't have the best of reputations.

    LSE
    King's

    Queen Mary

    Kingston, Westminster, Richmond

    London Met

That's a complete grab-bag. LSE is among the best regarded political science instutions in the world. King's is a very well regarded university and is known for being particularly strong in International Relations. London Met consistently appears at or very near the bottom of all UK university rankings.

I live in Kingston and I've not heard such great things about it. It's got good nightlife but the few people I know that go to university there (admittedly they all do computer science) don't rate it much. I'm not sure for other subjects, though.

Avoid London Met as others have suggested, and I would suggest Westminster also as it has a lower reputation than the others. In your shoes I'd choose LSE.

    Hi there,
I am currently studying at London Metropolitan University and just coming back from one semester abroad. All i can say is that the commitment, support and effort the Lecturers and Profs. put into our education at LMU is beyong expectations, and from what i heard not usual. Although others rank higher, the ranking terms have to be considered. And in my opinion quality, development and support throughout my time at uni is a very important criteria.

LSE, Kings then Queen Mary in that order. Don't just consider London unis though.
