    Hi,
I've got an A2 exam (the Global Economy) this month and I just need some help with structuring the different types of questions in this module such as the 10 markers and that all important 20 mark essay.

I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me out and give me a guide or question structuring advice for each of the questions

    Thanks
    Alex

The 20 mark question focuses specifically on analysis and evaluation. You need to apply your knowledge from the first half of the answer to the context of the question, and analyse how this will affect this the business. You also need to evaluate which means looking at both sides of the argument and saying what affect the different sides will have.

Thanks, any help on the 10 markers especially? And do you by ay chance have any generic guides about how to answer each question?

The questions are split into 4 areas.

-(AO1) Knowledge and Understanding (defining and understanding keywords/concepts)
Start every question with a definition.
-(AO2) Application (applying your knowledge to the question)
-(AO3) Analysis (talking about the effects this will cause)
    -(AO4) Evaluation (reasoning your opinion)

For a 4-6 mark question it's mainly just K+U and Application.

For 8-10 marks you will be looking at more analysis. With a bit of opinion and evaluation.

20 markers are about going beyond just what you know, and testing you on your ability to think outside the box.

In general, the higher the mark, the more you need to develop your answer with analysis and evaluation.
