I hope they all went well
Thanks! My final exam, mechanics 2, was shockingly bad. I believe that I'm allowed to say that now it's past 4am It was because I'd had another exam directly before it; I was burnt out and it was a hard paper, so I'm expecting to resit that. Otherwise, I think they were okay, C3 maths might be a bit dodgy but fingers crossed for results day anyway!

I can't even look at his mark schemes, I scare myself because I can never remember exactly what I put

I couldn't solve the car value thing (for t) at the end for love nor money! I literally spent 20 minutes on it and tried three different methods, FINALLY got there in the end (I think!!). So, so many obscure questions in it.

Oh he said that bit was hard so don't worry about it, I got that wrong, that's for sure . Also that prob means that the boundaries will be lower than usual I.e. 60 for an A rather than 65 for an A which has happened over the past few years..

Yay! A boy in my fm class had the invigilators get the head of maths down to look at the paper because he thought there was an impossible question, that's how bad people at my school found it! The question was obviously fine, but still!

Oh dear god. But yeah if arsey says a part is hard then it makes me feel better he also said the max. Point thing was difficult as well (after the trig thing).

Yeah, he generally says every exam is easy, so that's quite a relief!

I didn't do the paper, but I just had a quick look at it and yeah, it did seem tough! And for the last car question, I always thought rates of change was a C4 topic?

Not that I know of, but because it had e in it and the fact you had to turn it into an equation (which is in the c3 spec) it was a question

God knows what it was, I didn't have much time left so I just differentiated it
