It's starting to affect my subconscious; last night's dream is the proof (and wholly true). I dreamt that I was giving in, and I dreamt the shame for not persevering whilst I clicked onto the porn. I watched the porn for around 30 seconds, then before I could even begin my business, I exploded with an unnatural volume. I remember how I felt afterwards - the failure for not having triumphed over myself, and being bested in a fair competition by my own wang.
    Man, that was ****ing beautiful.

Don't listen to Frenchie. Remind yourself of why you're doing the challenge and how bad you'd feel if you failed. Then ask yourself if it's really worth it.

Sorry guys, got a stupid ban!!

Updated: Been nearly two weeks with no fapping (although some much needed sex last weekend!!) and still despite sex all weekend its a struggle!

Definitely noticing my energy levels have greatly increased! I feel that when I wake up (5am during the week) I no longer need to keep pressing 'snooze'; I just get up and go!

Motivation has also deffo increased! Sometimes you have days where you're like 'I'll do it tomorrow' but my mindset now is 'I'll do it as soon as I can'

I feel a much more confident, assertive man and this in turn has made me feel amazing! To all those knocking it (pardon the pun ) give it a go, you will not regret it

On my 9th day, starting to notice quite some changes now. Don't get horny so often. I feel more energetic, and can go with less sleep yet still be fully refreshed & wide awake when I get up. Memory also seems to be better (started revising for this mornings exam about 2 days ago. Found that I breezed through most of the 'factual' questions on what I revised, as well as remembered stuff from lectures months ago for the questions I hadn't revised.).

Also talking to people (anyone) easier during conversation I used to always notice that I constantly think "what am I going to say next" or "where is this conversation going". Now I just talk, and after it ends think (when I realise) "wow, that was easier".

Still not sure if this is solely due to no fapping however. I am still slightly skeptical of the full claimed benefits Mainly due to the fact that I've also started running back up just after Christmas, as well as adopted a new healthier eating lifestyle (yay for managing 5/day regularly ). However, at the same time, it can't just be due to those as I've done lots of running in the past & healthier eating and never saw benefits to this extent then, so no fapping has gotta be doing something, right? Even if it is subconscious/placebo.

I like this challenge. I did it for two weeks straight and felt great, not just psychologically but physically too. Felt very upbeat and full of vigor - strong like bull!!

Plus makes eye sex / female companionship more enjoyable and satisfying.

Will have to do this challenge again until I find myself an OH.

Another advice guys for those who have exams coming up, remember never to fap before the exams leave a 1 or 2 weeks space before the exams if you can't hold on. Fapping before exams seriously demotivates the mind and makes makes you feel really lethargic.

    Good Luck!

Where is the 'debate' to be had here though? People are doing it as part of their own choice. Gay marriage & Black/white segregation are issues that affect society as a whole. Choosing not to tug is someones own personal choice, and so I fail to see how anyone can actually debate on it.
I was responding to someone else's notion that the only issues worthy of debate are those that are life/death scenarios. As for whether the idea that abstinence from masturbation leads to positive character development or not, yes it is very debatable.

Could these benefits be more to do with the fact that you recently had sex than not masturbating?

No, because I never felt these during my current relationship. This has only happened recently and its due to abstinence

I've noticed similar things, and as far as I'm aware, I haven't had sex in the past 18 years
