Because there's no evidence that isn't anecdotal.
Please show me all these men who don't masturbate and it fixes stuttering.

Exactly so let people chose and stop with these false claims.

Masturbation is proven to be healthy.
It can be healthy. There's nothing wrong. Although dopamine is a weird drug, if you don't ****, when you release it you feel much better, you're more sensitive to the stimuli and if you have the willpower it prevents you from getting dopamine dependence.

In a sense fapstinence is a good thing but also a bad thing if you're sexually frustrated and don't channel the energy somewhere else.

    Masturbation is healthy,
But the use of pornography to enable it, is unhealthy.
    Watch the video. Educate yourself.

It can be argued that dopamine is a drug, and the urge to fap is a withdrawal symptom.
Some of us want to overcome the necessity to masturbate due to arousal from everyday media.

You should be an advocate too, unless you support the use of Pornography.

    I've failed fellow comrades, again.

Woke up at around 01:30 in a confused state and decided to try out edging. I guess it does not work if you've been addicted to fapping and have not given yourself enough time to reset. However, I did not have any negative thoughts about it and went back to sleep. I failed a second time as I again woke up sometime around 05:45 or so and this time just fapped away to get myself back to sleep, which flopped since I'm awake and on TSR but feeling tired and a little bit annoyed as I'll now feel worse off than just being tired normally due to a lack of sleep.

I was tempted to use porn on the 2nd attempt but that faded. It seems like a lot of people are using porn and failing whereas I don't really need to use it. Counselling does not seem to help either.

    Restart 24/01/2013 at 06:00.

One day I'll get my full sleep back for sure. Maybe I've got to move out of this house then...

That logic is ridiculous. It's like if we were to all claim we liked brussel sprouts, you couldn't believe it's true until you've seen an official survey which confirms it. Our word is proof, you're just too closed-minded.

Just because there's no empirical evidence doesn't mean fapstinence is not beneficial. The reason that no one has conducted experiments is because it's too costly. You can't profit from an experiment on not masturbating; sex toy companies make money on solo masturbator toys, condom companies sell more, tissue sales increase, lube sales increase. An experiment which proves the upside to fapstinence doesn't profit anyone so they won't conduct an experiment.

A claim isn't always false just because there's no scientific proof. I HAVE felt different because of fapstinence. You can't dispute that, it's how I've felt. Many other people have experienced benefits of their own too. They have no reason to lie. If they feel different then they will let us know. So far we've collected a fair amount of anecdotes to suggest that fapstinence DOES help with certain things.

One of those things is stuttering, and I've collected a few quotes from fapstronauts for you to read and completely ignore:

I have the benefits we no-faps expect to experience. My energy, motivation, and confidence are already higher than they have been in years.
Now for the kicker: for the past 2 or so years I've developed a small stutter. It's nothing terrible but still enough to bother me. It gets frustrating when I'm talking to someone and the words just won't come out right, as you can imagine.
I haven't stuttered for a week now. It's not just a little better, it's gone. I feel confident when I talk now. It sounds small, but for me this is huge. I feel ecstatic.
Confidence, I've attained more confidence than I've ever had before, I no longer stutter with my words, I can easily get a conversation going with about anyone now(even the beautiful girls I mentioned earlier).
I'm 25 and my stutter pretty much coincided with my excessive use of porn during my teens. Over these past 2 weeks my speech has begun to flow much better. I'm also feeling much more confident and less anxious around strangers.
Most of my life, I never had a stutter. Then, about four years ago, I started stumbling at the weirdest times. It was just one or two syllables amidst perfectly fine speech.
After working on my porn addiction for the past four months or so, I'm now convinced that they're entirely related. It's so weird. It isn't entirely gone, but it's getting there. This sure is exciting to see!
Talking about unexpected benefits of fapstinence:
Speaking. This has been a big issue for me for about the past 5 years. I know exactly what I want to say, but I jumble my words and stutter sometimes. I think this has gotten a little better. I hope it continues to do so!
And before you argue the difference between porn and masturbation differences, the link may be more tied in with porn, I won't deny that. However, there's a lot of guys who find it difficult to masturbate without porn.

On this thread we've read several accounts saying that they were sat at the computer and suddenly found themselves typing in the address of their favourite porn site without even thinking. A lot of guys especially the younger ones will have grown up with high-speed internet and porn at the click of a button. They're used to fapping with porn, that's all they know, they become dependent on it.

This is why we stop fapping rather than just stop watching porn. It's so difficult to kick a porn addiction if you know it's there at the click of a button. If you're horny it's harder to think with a rational mind and you'll end up watching it. It's so much easier to not watch it if you don't have an urge to fap.

Trying to convince others to repress themselves sexually isn't annoying, it is pathetic and ultimately useless thanks to biology.
There goes someone who doesn't want to give up her vibe, I'm guessing

Why you are so determined to refute any possible claimed benefits? Is it because you love masturbation too much to even consider that not masturbating might actually be good for you?
That's my guess. She's addicted, and doesn't have the willpower to try quitting even for a while to see if it benefits her.

I'll try and help out too. If a few of us take a chunk of pages each we can get all the names pretty quickly. He'll probably read through a lot of it to see what he's missed anyway.
