I just wanted to say I bitterly regret doing this. TBH I was a bit down at the time and in a weird place mentally. Now it has gone all blistered and weepy and I can't tell you how much it hurts pretty much whatever I do. Am tempted to to to the GP or hospital but can't think of a way to explain what happened. Also when I told my boyfriend on Skype last night he went mad. Had a big row but I kind of agree with him, it was more the principle that it's my body if that makes sense.

Girls, don't follow my example. Am wondering if my clit will ever be back to normal and wishing for the days of strumming and playing with my rabbit .
It'll heal soon enough and stop hurting. No need to go to the doctor or hospital, let nature take its course. Meanwhile there's zero chance of you returning to your bad habit any time soon, which is a result. And if you keep in mind how much your clit is hurting right now and resolve to get the lighter out if you ever fap again, you stand a great chance of staying clean for good .

Wow nobody could have forseen what a beas thread this would be!

I've had my last fap of 2013 today, and am starting from now, and I've deleted all 50GB of my pleasurebank. The pleasure from my orgasms has been greatly reduced because of the sheer amount of fapping, so hopefully my penis will fix itself and get the rest it so badly needs after 2013. I will post back next year to see whether I have been successful.
    Excellent. Good luck! :congrats:

Yes, go to your GP. Tell him/her that it was a stupid sexual experiment - it's not their job to judge.

Emma you have completely the wrong end of the stick. If it takes physical torture in order to stop masturbation, that's unhealthy and absolutely 100% not the intention of the NoFap challenge/lifestyle. If you've only ever masturbated the one time and never developed a habit, you're really in no position to understand or empathise with her circumstances.

It's utterly ridiculous for you to suggest that she go to such extremes to quit masturbation, and I'd thoroughly recommend you read up on the purpose of NoFap so you can understand the whole philosophy.

Me too, this is my third attempt. It's my plan to keep trying until I succeed, no matter how long it takes. If guys can give up, surely girls can too.
Men have a way stronger sexual drive then women so naturally this challenge is a lot harder for men and boys. So at least you're at an advantage compared to us guys!

Don't give up btw! And no more burning your clit, that's sick :P

You think? I reckon it's harder for girls. Reasons:

    1. Our orgasms are stronger and last longer than yours
    2. We (mostly) have multiples
    3. We get really horny when we have PMT
    4. Climaxing is great for dealing with period pain/cramps

Anyway, I'm thinking I may give up this challenge - if my clit ever recovers.

No way is it harder for girls. Guys have the problem that their balls are producing sperm all the day, they get uncomfortable or even in pain if they don't get a release. Also they can have erections for hours and it makes it hard for them to sleep. I really admire guys who break the habit, and the ultimate accolade is if they have wet dreams, because they're proof that they've controlled themselves long enough that their bodies had to take control and get the sperm out of their systems.

And please, please don't go back to fapping! You were very brave to do what you did, knowing it was the only way to break the destructive cycle. The pain you're now experiencing will surely deter you from touching yourself down there for a couple of weeks at least. And by then you will know that you can live without it, and your desire for it will be much diminished. You'll be a long way down the road to the self respect and mature sexuality that come with being a non-masturbator. And that feeling will be wonderful, well worth any discomfort you may experience in the meantime.

Blue balls isn't from the buildup of sperm, it's from the blood which rushes to the testicles during arousal, which if there's no sexual release, can cause a lot of pain. Also, sperm gets reabsorbed into the body roughly weekly and new sperm is produced, it won't continually build up. Do your research before you spout complete rubbish. Also, you can get spontaneous erections, but mostly you only get them when aroused. If you cut out porn from your life and other stimulus, you don't get so many erections.

I think it's quite possible that it's harder for girls. It really varies person to person though. Generally guys have a lot of testosterone which does its job in making us pretty fired up, but that's pretty much at a constant level, which once you're used to controlling, is not much of a problem. Girls' systems are much more complicated, hormones are frequently up and down, you can be fine one minute and the next your hormones are in overdrive and you're scratching at the walls trying not to masturbate..

Haha no need to be so harsh. There are a LOT of misconceptions surrounding blue balls. Orgasm is a common cure to blue balls and that is the main point she was making.

And that sounds a lot like my first month or 2 of pornfree.

If you've read anything else she's written in this thread you'd probably see why I'm being harsh. She recommended burning the clit with a lighter to stop masturbating. She's insane. There's no facts behind anything she says, she's seriously misinformed and should not be in any kind of position to give advice.

Whether it's a cure for blue balls or not, makes no difference. If you don't get aroused, you won't get blue balls. Blue balls aren't caused by a buildup of sperm, and a buildup of sperm doesn't occur anyway because it's reabsorbed, therefore it's not a good excuse for guys masturbating if they find the challenge difficult.

    Go ahead in that case...

It's not a good excuse but it's a valid excuse. You're more likely to be aroused more often if you haven't masturbated and with no release you'll get blue balls. Unless you flatline, in which case you have bigger problems

Within the first 2 weeks you may still be aroused pretty easily, but not to the extent that you'll get blue balls. Some guys report a slight feeling of blue balls, a very mild discomfort, but that it went away after 10 mins or so. It's nothing you can't put up with for a short period, it's certainly not worth throwing away your progress.

Anyway, after a while you don't really get randomly aroused without a stimuli. As long as you avoid porn, or any arousing pictures that you realise are giving you 'good feelings', then you're fine. If it makes you feel good, it's playing on your dopamine receptors, and that's the kind of thing NoFap aims to change.

Look, can we just agree that this is harder for guys? Seriously? It's obvious. No need to be in denial, people...

    No I agree, that's why I said it's not a good excuse.

And yes some guys report a slight feeling, others report more. You can't just go and say every guy who got blue balls on no-fap only got them slightly

I had treated 'blue balls' as a metaphorical device; I didn't realise people actually experienced it. I myself have not felt any discomfort.

Hmm, true. I suppose in cases of severe addiction it may occur.

    5 weeks in!
Had a look at some old porn favourites and I was disgusted at the thought of fapping to such degrading images. Nofap has seriously changed my outlook in regards to women. Another thing I've realised is my voice resonates a lot better. I'm not saying abstaining has deepened my voice but it feels a lot easier to breathe deeper so my voice is more grounded making me sound more confident.
I'm still shy but I can approach other strangers a lot more easily now compared to when I used to fap. So far it seems to be clean sailing from here, I just hope to keep this up because I feel a lot better in myself!
