Porn gives you inaccurate views of women and sex, giving the impession that sex in real life will be like it is in a porn scene. It leads to guilt in relationships and has no real positive effects. as far as i am concerned porn is a negative thing.
It only gives you those things if you let it. I think most men know they aren't going to get to have arse to mouth sex on the first date with some girl with double Ds. And if they are fair play. Personally I think vibrators create more issues for male/female relations, given that a vagina will always trump a hand, but a penis probably can't beat something that is optimally designed to press all of a woman's buttons simultaneously.

Anyone else noticed an increase in sexual confidence when you abstain? Like you hardly ever think twice about approaching an attractive woman.

Who said I think it's wrong? I never said it was wrong. Rather, the positive gains that result from abstaining, are excellent and desirable and regardless, it serves as an excellent challenge for self-control. It's much like eating sugary stuff isn't "wrong" per se; and yet, I am also abstaining from that too, as it serves as a challenge for self-control.
Totally. I feel really listless and unmotivated after a fap.

If you do end up hooking up with someone you will explode after about 10 seconds.

Yep, those are the kind of benefits that I'm talking about. It's not only sexual confidence, but also confidence in general social interactions. But with attractive people, I can certainly be bold in approaching them without being nervous or hesitant. And scientifically speaking, women may even be able to sense your "pent-upness" as it were through pheromones etc.

If I was 17 this would've been a piece of cake. Something's happened to my sex drive though. I get horny when the wind blows!

Yep, those first periods are difficult. But you've got to hang in there. If you play it right, you should be happier, more motivated, more relaxed, more social and more in control.
