I have 6 exams total in January:
    Maths C1, C2, S1
    Biology Unit 1
    Chemistry Unit 1
    Critical Thinking Unit 1 :argh:

So far I've only revised for maths, biology and chemistry - as critical thinking is just something our college makes us take as an extra and not as important a subject in my opinion.

I know a lot of people don't revise for it, I just want to know how much revision is needed to get a good grade in critical thinking?
    How much do universities care?
If you've done it, how much revision did you do and what did you get?

    Thanks

I recommend keep on revising : biology , chemistry and maths equally and don't worry too much about critical thinking , it doesn't at all have much importance and doesn't really have any major significant value as universities think it doesn't have enough content and detail to match proper A-level subjects ... Overall spend most time on your weakest and making that stronger out of maths , biology and chemistry and keep on recapping and reviewing and refreshing the information

The only revision I did is look at the mark scheme for the essay questions. I think that's enough.

EDIT: Didn't realise this was unit 1. Just read through your textbook and do the questions at the end of the unit; knowing what the markscheme wants is useful too.

I have Critical thinking too, It's so pointless and top/most universities do not recognise it just revise 1 or 2 weeks in advance. That's what I'm doing from now (all my exams are in June).

I did Critical Thinking last year and just did 2 or 3 past papers and I got a C, which I was pretty happy with considering we only spent 1 and a half hours on it a week and universities aren't particularly bothered with it anyway

Hi. I'm doing this exam too, we only do half an hour of this a week and I don't have a textbook, has anyone got a link to some past papers/mark schemes that I could look at to revise?

Well I took the decision when taking critical thinking at AS to not bother revising it, concentrating on my 'real' subjects. It was a good decision, I got AABC and a D in critical thinking. However i do think critical thinking is one of those subjects that you are either good at it or not.

I did revision on the train the night before on the way to chelsea and got a B, hardly any revision needed for unit 1

i did no revision for unit 1 last year and got a U, even though during the exam i thought it was going fine. I'm having to resit unit 1 and do unit 2 at the same time this year. I would do some past papers if i were you.
