Being 6 ft 5 I'm not sure if its something I'd ever have to think about in reality, a woman who's 6ft 6 would be quite weird in my opinion

Happy to say I've been going out with my 6ft 1 girlfriend for 14 months now, so height doesn't appear to bother me. Some of the most attractive girls I've seen have been at least my height (6ft) or thereabouts.

    Long legs :blushing:

Yes, if only because otherwise (at 5'7") I'd be rather limiting my choice and I'm picky enough as it is.

I'm 5'10 and on the rare occasion I attract guys they are always shorter! I prefer them tall though although I have previously got with guys in club who were shorter than me (just blame it on the shoes!)

    Tall girls are hot.
Saying that all the girls I've been out with are shorter than me.
The girl I'm seeing now is a good foot shorter than me.

And dating girls who are much shorter always gives you neck problems. I used to get one girl to stand on the kerb when I kissed her so that I wouldn't get a bad neck all the time.

Yes, height seems a silly thing to judge people on. Plus being 5'4 it would really limit my choices.

In all honesty most guys probably wouldn't date a girl 5+ inches taller than them due to feeling emasculated and whatnot as you mentioned OP. But if the guy found the girl amazing enough I doubt 1-2 inches would make a difference.

Besides the hottest girl I've ever seen was about 6'1" with amazing legs and curves to match. :sogood:

    I'm 5' 2"/ 5' 3" (around that general area) and I'm a guy, 17 years old.

I don't have a whole lot of choice, do I? When there are tons of girls taller than you, you either get used to it or you feel totally emasculated. Fortunately, I'm used to it. I wouldn't mind dating a really tall girl, nor would I mind dating one shorter than me. I don't judge on height.

When a guy is taller than you, you just get that sense of security
wide arms, looking down at you ^_^

I don't mind a few inches at all. When we're talking noticable differences :nah:

My boyfriend is shorter than me by a couple of centimetres, and my ex was a good inch or two shorter as well. It's only an issue if the guy is insecure about his height, which funnily enough my ex REALLY was, and my boyfriend isn't

Tbh it's probably me who has the bigger issue with it - I tend not to wear heels when I'm around him.

In principle I would like to say that it doesn't matter, but in practice this really wouldn't be the case for me.

It's nothing to do with social stigma for me - I do not give, nor ever have, a care about what people think of me - but I would feel more dominant if I was with a shorter girl.

Practically, as a fairly tall guy myself, she would look quite weird if she was taller than me, so that certainly wouldn't help. I know of no 6'3 women, for a start.

If I was shorter then I'd say yes, as I have a serious fetish for long and slim legs (I am more attracted to good legs than anything else of a woman's body ), but most tall women are shorter than me anyway.

Yes, definitely. There's this stunning girl I socialise with occasionally but sadly, she's around 2-3 inches taller than me. I say sadly because I highly doubt she'd be comfortable with the height difference so nothing has been attempted.

Yes, I'd have no problem with it if she didn't. Anyway, any feeling of emasculation would be offset by the prospect of my (male) kids likely becoming taller than I am. But...

      (Original post by barnetlad)
Never have but I would if I met a woman whom I was attracted to, was single and interested in me and taller.
the chances of this happening seem pretty slim.

Anything more than about 2-3 inches would probably discourage me.

Not saying that I WOULDN'T, because there are definitely cases that I would if the female was more than 3 inches taller, but it would be far more likely to turn me off
