I'm applying to a sixth form college to board, and have been invited to an interview and a scholarship exam the next day. The thing is, I really have no idea what I should do to maximise my chances. I'm fairly sure that the interview is purely to assess boarding suitability, but the letter I received only mentioned in regards to the testing, "a multiple choice exam encompassing subject and general knowledge". I've not been told what sort of level of knowledge I will need to have, and while most people think I'll be fine, I would like to know what to expect going into the test.

Has anyone had to do anything like this?
