Manchester adult nursing interview

Just got an interview for adult nursing at university of manchester, i understand that it is a group interview along with maths and literacy tests and a crb check, i'm comfortable with the maths and literacy checks because i've done similar before but was just wondering if anyone could shed any light on the group interview what questions will they ask does everyone get a fair turn to speak thanks x

I had an interview for child nursing there last year (interviews are the same for branches).

There were roughly 8 of us (there was supposed to be 10 but 2 girls were missing), we sat in a semi-circle facing 2 interviewers.
I think there was about 5 questions about why you think you're right for the course, why manchester, experiences you'e had etc.. They would ask in order left-right, then right-left, then starting in the middle and going round from there, and a couple of free-for-alls (these were awful, I had very pushy people in my interview so I couldn't get a word in if I wanted to).

Ahh right that was similar to an interview I had last year some pushy people too! It's hard to find the Line between getting yourself noticed and giving your opinion and then being too overpowering and opinionated thanks for your help and information  were you successful at Manchester?

Hi, I had a similar experience a couple of weeks ago with a couple of 'mature' students who dominated the interview, I've been put on their reserve list :/ Just wondered whether you got an offer in the end and when they got back to you with a final decision. x

Yeah, I was on the reserve list for months (around april) until they told me that there were no places left (not sure if it was the same case for adult branch though).

I applied for Manchester for adult nursing at the beginning of November, if not late October and still not heard anything back from them. Any ideas why this would be ?

There will probably be a large concentration of people applying then so the university will just be working through them
