hey i think i'm going to get my nose pierced tomorrow but is there a side that people normally get it done on?

mines on the right. I din't think about which side to get it on when I had iot done. Just pointed to a side and it happened to be the right one.
Maybe to help you, if you symetical things then do you have any moles etc on one side of your face. I have about 7 moles and most are on one side of my face. It doesn't bother me but you can equalise it with the piercing on the other side.

hmmm.. get it done through the middle of your nose.. then you would be different.

There's supposedly one side that indicates that you're gay, and one side that indicates that you're straight (if you're bi, I would suggest the middle. Or, if you're post-gay as a H&R thread suggests is possible, maybe not at all? Hmm. This is complicated.) But I wouldn't stress about this aspect, as nobody actually knows which side means which, if anything at all.

I got mine pierced on the side I thought looked best, not what other people think is the 'correct' side. Mine is on the right, because on the left of my nose towards the bridge I have a mole, so didn't want too many 'spots' on the one side! :p:

It's personal preference. If you're getting a a piercing based on what other people prefer, what's the point in having one? Piercings should be individual and personal... OK, nose piercings aren't rare, but they should still be personal to the individual.
