I'm doing my english coursework and I need to compare Romeo and Juliet Act 1 Scene 3 and Act 3 Scene 5 with a Frosty Night (by Robert GRaves) and Follower (by Seamus Heaney). It's basically just comparing common themes, but more importantly how family relationships are portrayed. I got a few, I just need a few more, maybe 2?

CAN ANYONE HELP?!

Thanks

I've never read Frosty Night and Follower, but for Romeo and Juliet, think about how Juliet's parents treat Juliet. Perhaps they were a bit too harsh to treat her as a ticket to a better reputation by marrying her off to Paris? Lady Capulet probably does treat her more lovingly/cares more about her than Lord Capulet does (refer to scene where Lord C punishes Juliet with his harsh words and threats). Also, little love is shown between lord and lady C as seen from the first act.
You could compare that with the family relationships seen in Frosty Night and Follower. They should be somewhat different, or maybe similar.
Lord Montague and Lady Montague's relationship with Romeo is shown little throughout the play except for the first act where lord M calls for benvolio to find out why Romeo was looking troubled, so use more reference from the Capulet family.
Compare the theme of Generation Gap in R&J and other youth/age-related themes.

Sorry I can't help much as I've never read the other 2 books /:
