I have applied to this course for 2013 entry, really stood out for me when I went looking round universities. Got my offer about a month ago AAA or A*AB.

I'm an access student so no, don't have exams and I'm performing very well so think I can dedicate time to pre readin.

My offer is 30/60 distinctions and 15/60 merits. I already have 18d and 6m so on target.

I loved the uni and the course.

What are your aims? I want to study in the US I'm aimin for a career with the UN Or maybe Amnesty?

Hey that sounds like and interesting course. I am currently re sitting some gcses and I am unsure of if I wanna do spanish law or international law. I am thinking about doing an access course too, how is the access course going for you? And what sort of stuff do you have to study? Do you have any work experience or do you just need the access course? Also when did you apply and what year are you starting?

Hope you don't mind me asking all these questions I just don't know anyone doing access courses my age (19)

Im 30 and the access course takes a year. Sheffield dont ask for experience but other unis might. Access asks you to pick credits appropriate to your uni course. Im doing extra credits but im doing: welfare and social policy, history, sociology, criminology and psychology. The course is quite labour intense, im told a much higher work load than y1 at uni.

Thank you for replying. Im already doing Spanish ALevel this year I am gonna see if my college will let mw do Sociology alevel in one year too so ill have 2 alevels aswell as my access course. Would that be similar to extra credit? I want to do Spanish law at university don't know if I need work experience or not yet :/ need to research more.
