Hi all,

considering taking arts and humanities foundation year at Leeds.

Would I be obliged to continue onto a degree at Leeds, or would I be able to progress into a degree at any Uni?

Thanks

No you are not! You can apply to any uni of your choice as long as your grades are strong enough, but it also depends on the entry requirements that the uni's you would like to apply to require.

I've applied for this course too! Have you heard from them yet?
Wonder whether this course "applies" for accommodation since it's a foundation year...

I have heard from them, i'm going to the open day / interviewing process for the applicants tomorrow.

And it does, it comes with full perks of being a University of Leeds student.

I have an interview coming up too. Don't know what to expect of it. Also unsure of whether I actually want to make it my first choice, so I'm not keen on having to go up north...
could you tell me how the interview went?

Hey. It went pretty well and the interviewers are very friendly and open. It's a great place to study, and the people are nice too.

its nothing strenuous at all, quite relaxed atmosphere. TSR rules prevent me from posting any specific details, sorry about that.

Hey. I'm doing this foundation year as well as I just missed my offer for journalism and was just wondering if anyone has set up there student bank account yet and which bank? As far as I have read on the websites they only offer overdrafts for three years until they charge which is obviously no good because year three will be our second year of our degree.

I have some questions regarding the course and would be extremely grateful if you could answer my recent thread.
