I'm staring to lean towards the art side of economics so was thinking of doing BA Economics & Philosophy since i like both subjects and they both complement each other.
Will not doing pure economics reduce my chances of getting offers at top unis for postgraduate economics?

If you lose out on core mathematics/statistics/econometrics classes, then yes.
