1 mile race on Monday - help! Watch

I've just been signed up to a mile cross country race on Monday, anything I could do between now and then to improve speed? I do run a couple of times a week but tend to do about 3 miles - I haven't run shorter distances in a while so I won't be very fast, and the cold is making me wheezy any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I'd try and stick to a certain diet. If you google it it'll come up with some plans which might not improve your speed drastically, but will help!

No, you need to rest a few days before a race so you're in tip top shape.
Just make sure you carb up the day before the race, that's about all you can do.
