I was just wondering how far people are coming from to study at Kent?
I'm from Birmingham, so it's about a 3 hour drive to Canterbury or two trains and a tube, but I really want to put Kent as my firm choice.

Haha, no way! Have you applied for Kent? I have a conditional so it will most likely be my firm, I'm just a little worried about distance and cost. Where else have you applied? And where abouts in Birmingham are you from :-P

I looked at Reading and Hull too, but ended up applying to Keele Oxford Brookes, Lincoln and Nottingham Trent because I was worried about my grades. I live in Solihull.

Really? Where did you get your ticket from? And which stations?
The cheapest I've found is £12 there and £16.50 back!

I have a conditional from Lincoln too, what course have you applied for? Apparently it's quite awkward to get to Lincoln from Birmingham, but then again it's awkward to get to Kent too...

Lol yeah I guess a lot of people going to Kent will be from London. It's far enough for us to live out, but close enough to get back when we want to
