It was for rides & attractions! I have seen about 3 people that were in the interview with me that day have got the job, the interview was only yesterday! I am so worried now :frown:

did you get contacted via phone or email? Because I haven't heard of anyone getting contacted by email yet! X

They normally only email to say sorry they don't want you! They normally phone :smile:

! & don't worry, it depends who interviews you as they're in different ride departments (e.g. Crusoe, dora, Indiana I think) and they let people know at different times. They might not be working today for instance! Just be patient :smile:

I know it's hard but yeah! I'm sure you'll be fine! Who interviewed you? Do you remember? Xx

Hey I'm in team Crusoe and those are the rides that were gunnah be operating so i think im deffo sure that Dora are on dragons fury, Kobra and monkey swings :smile:

Ah my bad! Didn't know that about Dora! On the phone he told me it was Dragon falls, Zufari, Peeking heights, Runaway mine train and something else! They changed them all this year which is why I asked! That's what team dora was last year :wink:

I know someone who lived 2 hours away who worked there last season. They don't base it on where you live!

Also I got the job last year at 15 years old with no prior experience (unless you count work exp or a paper round!!) :wink:

I worked at Asda for 2 months but that's the only experience I have. They pretty much specialise in employing students so they know that not everyone has experience. A lot of people I know had their first job at Chessington. I would think that they've probably got most if not all of the ride hosts interviewed or invited for interview, but there are many other positions available and I could be wrong :smile:

They recruit the majority of their staff now before the start of the season, so that they can be trained and ready to go in March. Throughout the season they do sometimes advertise for vacancies if for example people leave. However, they don't often advertise for more ride hosts as it is a popular job! The main other times they have vacancies are just before summer, and before halloween! :smile:
