Woah I just came onto student room to see how other people thought the exam went and to my surprise there aren't any threads on it!

So, how did everyone find it? I found it extremely straight forward except some parts were weird (like the shape question?!).

Yeah i think we are allowed to discus now. I could prove that that ln thing was 1/cosx and the 2nd vectors question was hard. I got t as 14 in question 9 but it was aparently 22. Soooo angry.

The very last question, i cant remember it was something like, 8 - ln 27/4 ?

what did everyone get for the coordinates of the stationary points for the parametric question?

how did you do the vector question,where it passed through a and mid point of BD?

The co-ordinates i'm sure were: 1,root2 and 1,-root2

For that question you had to find the mid point of BD and then come up with a line equation using A and the vector you just worked out.

for the cartesian equation, something like y = 2x + 3 over something.. anyone remember?

for the vector shape, what quadrilateral did you write down?

for using u as a substition in the integration, anyone else get 3/128?

The shape was a kite, and the substitution I honestly can't remember :P

The cartesian equation...Err you had to make sin and cos the subject of their respective equations, then you died x^2+y^2=1 and then you got something square + something squared = 36

what do people think about grade boundaries?

for the differential equation, did people get c as ln 60?

i messed up finding t... i got 8 but apparently its 22.

for expressing theta, was it theta = e^kt+c - 20?

I think 2sin/3cos cancelled to 2/3 tan

Yeah I think the cartesian equation was that over 5

Don't remember that number sorry but may well have been right.
