The Scotsman article, very good. Try reading what Prof John Curtice actually said rather than a headline written by a Unionist!

The irony is that not even a poll conducted by a pro-independence group gives a Yes victory, even when the undecideds are removed.

You're memory fails you on that case.

Panelbase had a 20% margin if error.

Oh, that's right, all the pollsters massively underestimated the SNP support

I did. He highlights that SNP commissioned panelbase polls have a history of being heavily biased.

No they didn't

YouGov puts support for yes at 37% .

TMS puts it yes at 28%

I'm confused as to where and who was being patronising.

Yes Scotland website, message displayed when you reply to 'Should Scotland be an independent country?' with 'No':

'We're sorry that you don't agree with us that Scotland is best run by those who live here.'

"It is disappointing but not surprising that Lord Robertson fails to recognise any of that in this crass and offensive speech that has absolutely nothing positive to say.

Don't agree with the SNP?

"The loudest cheers for the break-up of Britain would be from our adversaries and from our enemies."

What a load of rubbish.

All this talk of the UK being a big "military power" is one of the reasons I want to leave it.

You may want to read up on how active their military has been in Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya.

No one said we should be exactly like Norway, but these Scandinavian countries are considered some of the best places in the world to live.
