Ah unlucky, you gonna be retaking?

I got a C, which I was annoyed about so I'll be retaking it.

Yep i was 2 marks off a C. tbh i was expecting it, as i sort of neglected biology. Will definitely try to do well in unit 1 though.

I'm just glad I'm not doing unit 2 anymore, got 123/140 for it in the recent jan exams. It was a big unit so quite relieved actually!

Question: Describe the bohr effect

I'm not sure If this is correct as I am not sure whether I remember it, but I will have a go . Bohr Effect describes That the less Carbon Dioxide here is in the blood the haemoglobin has a stronger affinity for Oxygen and so Oxygen is not released. Then when Carbon dioxide Partial pressures are high the haemoglobin is more likely to release the Oxygen as it has less affinity for Oxygen.

(then You give the answer-after you have read it and tell me how many marks I would of got out of a certain number of marks, then you answer my question)

Describe the sub-units that make up the Nucleotide structure. (To include the names of the 4 bases) (6 marks)
Yeah that explanation of the Bohr effect is bang on; just revised it today.
