Are you allowed to write in it?

My plan is to make quick notes for core 3 i.e cos differentiates to -sin and sin integrates to cos, quick sketches of the inverse (tan -1, sin -1, cos -1) graphs etc so that my brain doesn't mess up mid-6 marker-question as I'm aiming for 90+ I.E dont want dumb mistakes to ruin my chances

I really don't see why not but does anyone know? Hell, could I even rip off part of the last page where extra space is provided, as they always provide extra-extra space that you don't even use?

You could just jot it down on one of the blank back pages

Yes i said that.. But then could I rip it out so that it's in front of me all the time so it would remove the neccesity of flipping the question booklet if it is needed :P

We are told not to write in them at my school, since they are used for about 2 or 3 years.

This. Someone has to check all the blinkin' things to make sure there is no writing in them after each exam.

If you're talking about the ones issued in A level exams then they are re-used year after year. After the exam is over they have to be checked through and any that have anything scrawled on them (whether it's a picture of a penis or Fermat's last theorem) have to be discarded and new ones obtained. Don't do it!

Ask for an additional answer sheet and write on that.
