Show that image scale and field of view for a telescope with a CCD (Focal length=2.8m, CCD has
1536x1024 9 micrometre pixels) is about 74 arcsec/mm and 17x11 arcmin.

For the first part, I'm fine. Image scale =1/2.8 rad/m =74 arcsec/mm.

For the second part, where do I even start? I don't really understand what the information means (1536x1024 9um pixels)

Doesn't that just mean the CCD is 1536 pixels long by 1024 pixels wide with each pixel having a size of 9 micrometre? In which case just multiply the number of pixels by the size of the pixel to get the physical length and width of the CCD.
That's my guess.
