I'm 22 (technically old enough to be a mature student, I think?) and am still at uni.

I might add a little more about my situation then.

Won't be a first time fresher! Not so much fresh as over-ripe

I graduated with a genetics degree in 1999, will graduate as a D.Phil this summer - just doing my corrections.

    Third time fresher/over-ripe in Sept!

What degrees are you all doing?

Showing your maturity and hence your age, there.

Is a D.Phil like a Doctrine in Philosophy?

    lol!!! Certainly not a doctrine!

DPhil and PhD are in reality the same qualification and you get to whack Dr at the start of your name. Some places award DPhils others PhDs.
