The exam is some time from now, and coursework is a more pressing concern, but regardless I've been doing some light revision for the exam in the summer.

For the exam I'm doing Captain Corelli's Mandolin, The Great Gatsby, and metaphysical poetry under the arching theme of relationships. Having looked through some past paper questions, I've been trying to form a table with the columns 'theme on relationship', 'quotation', 'analysis', and (the bane of my life), 'link to modern reader' for Gatsby.

However, I'm having some trouble. I've been finding it difficult creating general titles on relationships so as to be prepared for whatever this exam throws at me. I've come up with 'relationships in context of time, place, and gender', 'relationships in conflict', but I feel like I'm missing a great deal.

What would you guys recommend as titles for relationships in Gatsby, which I could go on to compare with Corelli and the metaphysicals?
