Hi Could you help me with definitions for
ROUTERS
GATEWAYS
HUBS
BRIDGES
LAN
WAN
i have the following definitions but i am not sure if they are right since Bradley and Heathcote are quite vague

Routers: used to connect multiple architectures with the same protocol together
Gateways: connects networks with same topology but diff architecture

could please tell if they are right and help me with the others since i need to know if they connect diff architectures and/or diff protocols instead of just "they send packets across networks"
thanks
