Hey, don't ask me. Did I not say at the very beginning "this is a stupid thread"? Incidentally, it's probably still here because it doesn't lie about the death of any individual, monarchs or otherwise. So there.

If my thread had been allowed to flourish, I can predict that it would have led to some interesting debate about the monarchy.
Also, I made it quite clear that what I was saying was simply a joke, and I fail to see what caused so much offence. I think people find it nessasary to over react just to get attention, as many of the people did.

Also, there were many flaws in my argument which would have been clear to the closely observing individual, had you taken the time to appreciate it.

    So there.

(According to my psychology teacher) The average Sun reader has a vocabulary of 3000 words, opposed to the average year-13 student, who has a vocabulary of 15000.
Well, I read the sun and would definitely have a vocabularly exceeding 3000 words. Tell your psychology teacher that he/she is stereotyping. As a red blooded male, it's the only paper (the daily star is a mockery of a paper) that offers a pair of boobs. (oo and sometimes there is another set in the centre pages!!) - all feminists out there, they choose to do it, don't have a swipe at me.
Then, along with that, you can laugh at people in the dear deirdre columns. Such petty problems in their lives and they choose to write into her.
Yes, it does contain much more celebrity trash than acutal current affairs, but heh, current affairs can get a little boring at times. Tony Blair talking the same rubbish time after time, the fact it's all on the news allows me to comfortably read the sun, without a guilty conscience.

Well said, would you people learn to take a joke! Sweet Jesus, it wasn't a claim that your grandmother died. Have any of yous actually met the Queen? Do you know what she's like? No.
Birthright has put her there and she is no better than anyone else. Lighten up and take the joke as it was meant to be.

WTF, treason is no longer a punishable offence. So f**k the queen.
It is, I'm afraid. Although the death penalty was abolished in 1998 due to EU law, the sentence is now life imprisonment.

The Guardian newspaper went to court last year for arguing that it should be possible to advocate a UK republic. Although the EU Human Rights Act 1998 guarantees freedom of speech, the Treason Felony Act 1848 still stands today.

    Carry on reading your Sun!

Men are men whether intellectual or not and if he wants to get his tit pictures from the Sun then it doesn't make him less intelligent.

Ogling inflatable 'models' in down-market tabloids is an activity which compromises dignity. Intelligence and dignity go hand-in-hand. One can not function without the other.

Yes, yes. This is the way things function. If it weren't for me, then this league would not have got past the planning stage. I have been solely responsible for recruiting over 60 members, opposed to the grand total of 2 acheived by the rest of the Circle. I think that, in the best interests of the organisation, I have to take a few liberties, yes?
