I haven't heard anything from them about it apart from the little postcard to confirm that they've received the form... but a friend who's a first year there at the moment says she didn't hear until August/around results time, so I'm just gonna put it out of my mind and hope for the best :P

cardiff is my insurance choice. i take it that means i need not apply for accommodation? although i believe with some unis even insurance choice students can give their preference. can anyone clarify?

You do not need to apply for accom at Cardiff. if you do go to Cardiff you will be sent the accom form as soon as your offer is confirmed. Cardiff (unusually) houses all Firm and insurance students as a promise

I didnt find out till well late to be honest which one I had.... I dont know many people who didnt get their first choice.... We will see! Hope that you all get the choice you want!! laters
