Not officially.. Notttingham sent me a letter Friday saying that they will make me an offer once I send a form to them, which I sent off yesterday.
Is that after you took the test?? If so...well done!

I think so..unless it was April...no i doubt it! It best be march!! AARGH!

    ANYONE KNOW?
I didn't think that was right....beacause in the UCAS booklet you get when you apply, they tell you when you need to reply to UCAS about your decisions by...and i can't quite remember...but if your last reply comes before sometime in march..you have to reply by 28th of April...

however after the 28th April they've set further later deadlines for those who find out later.

SORRY Forget the bit of info regarding dates, i got it from someone in another thread. Since been on UCAS and it says...

Last decision from the college or university
    Reply date

    31 March 2004
28 April 2004 (1 July if outside the UK)

    10 May 2004
7 June 2004 (1 July if outside the UK)

    18 June 2004
7 July 2004 (1 July if outside the UK)

    23 July 2004
9 August 2004 (1 July if outside the UK)

The first date of the pair is when you receive your last offer correspnding to the second date when you have to reply by.

If that makes sense. so they can decide as late as 23rd July AAAAAARGH!!!
That is really bad, all the good accomodation will be spoken for!!

No, if you read your ucas booklet properly you'll find a section that says if you applied by 15/1 the unis must let you know by may.

However, a senior tutor at Durham told me UCAS have set them a deadline of 16th March to make their replies.

Yeah it is, well i suppose the longer we're waiting, the more chance we have of an offer...or they would just be playing with us n raising our hopes for no reason..hmmm!!

I sat the test on the 17th feb so i would have thought they'd tell me pretty soon, people on here who took the test then have heard back -i really just wana know eitherway now!

its quicker for them to reject you than it is to give you an offer...if you are worried then email them or phone them to ask when you are likely to hear??

No, I've bothered them enough with other queries!

I know durham give rejections out afterwards as it happened to my friend last year.
