    the coursework is about a round metal disc which has a piece of string wound around it and has a weight of 100g attached to the string. so when you let go of the weight the string unravels as the weight drops to the floor, and therefore it starts the disc spinning. the disc is placed in between 2 electromagnets so you have to time how long it takes for the disc to stop spinning at a range of different currents.

    does anyone have a planning exercise on this particular coursework. it must include background knowledge, preliminary work and a method. i would be very greatful if someone could help me out with this.
