From a 'normal black girl' you appear to be referring to.

This completely shot down the credibility of your post.

In what way, surely it reinforces it?

I appear to be one of those 'normal black girls' (whatever the hell that means) that he's referring to and I do not fall into his 'category'. Even if I did, it wouldn't give him the right to create insinuations about every black woman. I'm sure such behaviours isn't exclusive to black women. I or his experiences do not represent the masses.

By admitting that you are a black girl it becomes evident that you just feel personally insulted by the post and are not making a rational case against the initial statement. It is very difficult to accept generalisations about one's own race/gender/religion etc. particularly if you are the 'exception from the rule'. This does not mean however that the generalisation made is true in its core and that - in this case - a majority of black women are like this.

I only date White women. Most men of other races prefer white women as well. They prefer light skin and like blonde women with colored eyes. White women are most desired.

You see; you're insinuating and suggesting that because of the colour of my skin, which is by default might I add, my valid opinion is no longer, well valid; I see not logic in that at all. I don't put my race on a pedestal nor do I defend my race when it isn't necessary (funnily enough, my threads and posts will support this statement).

If you'd bothered reading my posts to 2ndClass, I attacked his insult to white women. I am not personally offended by what this boy has said, I am however correcting his inaccuracies. I am also suggesting that a lot of what he's saying is nonsense.

I tried to make this argument as non-biased as possible which he evidently didn't.

Attitudes and beliefs vary from culture to culture and there are lots of different 'black' cultures.

Edit - How can you create such a statement without any thorough knowledge? Fair enough that your assumptions may derive from stereotypes but that doesn't make it correct.

Actually I neither insinuating nor suggesting anything. I don't necessarily agree with 2ndClass's points. I was merely doubting, well, disproving your objectivity.

Really? It would be the normal thing to do - and I see people of your race (as well as others) do it every day. A lot.

Would have to look at them which takes too long. But I don't believe you.

How could you do that? Do YOU know every black (and white) woman?

Well, I have bad news for you: you failed as well. But it's not your fault. You're inherently biased.

Given my life experience I indeed had the opportunity to collect thorough knowledge on how people react in discussions that affect them personally, particularly on touchy subjects such as race or religion. And my theories are being confirmed again and again by people like you. Thank you.

You clearly have, you've decided to assume reasons why I attacked his posts - which sadly for you, is incorrect.

Yes, I don't. Praise is given when owed, attacks are given when necessary. I don't associate myself with a race, I brand myself as an individual. I've been called a 'self-hater' numerous times by some people on TSR and I couldn't care less.

Would have to look at them which takes too long. But I don't believe you.

Just based on the poster you are, I honestly don't care what you believe.

Doesn't change a thing.

Er, it sort of does. I accept NO generalisations of any race - my own complexion has nothing to do with it.

Wrong.

Oh of course I'm wrong - you're able to dig into the inner depths of my sub-conscious, sorry, I forgot.

The mere fact that a category consisting of 100s of millions of people do not behave the same.

Well, I have bad news for you: you failed as well. But it's not your fault. You're inherently biased.

Yeah, you know so much about my thought process.

Your experience =/= the ultimate fact.

Assumptions again. This is what generalisations do, it creates pre-determined judgments and insinuations.

No need for me to assume, you delivered the reason yourself. By denying it you only embarrass yourself now.

Not possible. Each one of us is programmed to defend its race. Early ages of mankind, you know.

Original post

Nope. Only because you question a generalisation about a different race doesn't mean you won't challenge an accurate one about your own race. And if you think this is only about your 'complexion' you haven't understood a thing.

Not even necessary. It's just basic psychology and social sciences.

Original post

Of course they don't. But there is always a majority acting a certain way, a trend or pattern that can be observed. If you really thought the OP was actually referring to every single black girl when he said 'black girls', your communication skills are indeed greatly underdeveloped.

Original post
by Iamyourfather
Yeah, you know so much about much thought process.

Much much? But seriously, most people think alike. Evolutional, racial, social and cultural preconditioning leave the same mark on the thought processes of all of us.

Generalisations are always based on facts or factual observations. I am not one to judge the OP's one, but the fact how you've responded to it sure confirms my point.

Looks-wise, i prefer darker features and alot of black boys have the body type I like (Strong arms, nice torso and quite compact with thick thighs and bum).

Also, I tend to get on better with them as I find I identify with them better (I like stereotypically 'black' music, i.e. hip-hop).

Thick in the head too, people who like hip hop.
