Urgh - 9am lectures on a Monday morning. They should be outlawed as a form of cruel and unsual punishment. Who else has to face one tomorrow? I have them on Mon, Tue and Wed, then 10am on Thur and Fri. They do it to first years deliberately I'm sure!

well at least you've finished school, it's like that everyday for us.

I had to suffer through those as well! But I thought that studying law, therefore being classed as an arts student, would mean that I got at least one or two weekday lie-ins. But alas it was not to be...

hehe, so does my flat mate... he hates it, especially as he doesn't have any lectures after midday.

Reply 7

I've go one on Monday and one on Wednesday. But then again, that's not too bad, as I haven't got anything at all on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Oh just remembered... had a lecture from 7pm to 8 pm last year (preceded by a seminar at 5 and another seminar at 6 - and a 9am start the same day!)

I hate 9:00am starts as much as anybody (it means getting up at 7:00am) however when we all start working full time most of us will be starting work at 9:00am.

I couldn't agree more - last term I had 9am monday-thursday, and then 12pm friday. This term i have 9am monday-wednesday, 10am thursday and 12pm friday. I hate being a science student. Whats worse is lab is first thing monday morning, its the worst thing after a long hard weekend(!)

What makes it worse is most of the people i live with haven't seen 9am since they left school...

get up at 7 everyday....

Reply 13

9am - wow... that would be a lie in.

On tuesday, I will be starting at 8am and finishing at 10pm or later.... arrgghh

The thing is 9:00am starts just give even the most studious and goody goody of students an excuse to skip a couple of lectures. When I had my part time job I was up at 7:00am 4 days in a row so when you have a lecture you feel you can miss you do. However if that lecture was at 3:00pm I would go anyway just for the sake of it.

Early starts are just painful - do they think we are all giant larks or something?

I've got a double lecture from 9-11 tommorow, and then one until 12. Its good being on campus though because I can roll out of bed to my lecture  You can take it for granted though and I was late for a 2pm lecture last week

it could always be worse....not only do i have a 9 o clock...and a 30 min walk to get there, i then have an Exam at 10.

i have 9:00 lectures on wed, thurs, and fri -

although the good thing about them is they get me out of bed and do something constructive, otherwise i would just stay in bed.
