I've seen alot of posts around looking for markschemes so maybe this will be of help to someone. I've got all of the markshemes for WJEC BY1, BY2, BY4, BY5 for the January and June exams for 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012. I also have January 2008 which I know for some may be useful.

Good luck!

How have people been revising for BY5? Also what do you make of the raw mark grade boundaries for an A which are around 75%?

Normal body cell- it's a germinal epithelial cell, which undergoes mitosis to form 1* spermatocytes (dip) which undergoes MEIOSIS to form 2* spermatocytes (hap).

Hi guys i'm finding Meiosis I and Meiosis II difficult to understand - I keep getting confused with CHROMATIDS AND CHROMOSOMES - i understand the process, but would like to know if anyone has any decent pictures linked with the BY5 explanation of it? Because the book has many errors and its confusing me Many thanks, K
