Uwe Interview Adult Nursing???!!!

Hi,

They have finally invited me for interview and I was just wondering if anybody knows what they ask about and the structure of the interview.

sorry i dont know anything about that specific uni but in all my interviews the most common questions were -
1)why do you want to do nursing?
2)why do you want to do (enter the branch here) nursing?
3)what makes a good nurse?
4)tell me abit about yourself
5)what work experience have you had?

if you come up with some bullet points for these questions then youd be well prepared. try not to sound rehersed tho - they are not looking for perfect answers just good ideas behind them.

im sure ull be fine just act confident and enthusiastic and im sure ull get the offer! remember they already like you because theyve invited you to an interview!this is ur oppotunity to show them ur as good (if nt better) in real life than on paper xx

Not sure about this uni, but for my interview they asked some scenario questions too, like 'what would you do if...' and 'how would you react to...' Sorry can't remember the specific questions they asked (I was too nervous at the time!!) but so long as you think the questions through and answer calmly and confidently (easier said then done I know) you will be fine. Thanks yeah I am awaiting training to be an NA and during the welcome day I was able to talk to a nurse who had been to uwe 2 years ago and was interviewed. She said the questions were along the lines of "......what makes a good nurse" & "what experience have you got?" So hopefully will get in for September meaning I would have been an NA for two months lol :biggrin:

Good news they were able to tell me they are going to make me an offer.
