The USA has killed very very few innocent people in the Middle East. The USA is helping stabilize the Middle East. They should be thanking us, not killing us. They need to stop killing innocent Americans.
Wow. Drones kill 50 innocent people for every 1 terrorist killed. These drones have been the silent warfare of the USA against the middle east for the past decade and are operating right now all over the place.

"They need to stop killing innocent Americans." When was the last time that happened? An extremely ignorant post imo, wake up, the media has you on smash.

Power of propaganda, Never knew **** was this bad.

It's not propaganda. The USA has done a lot of good in the middle east.

    (Original post by Danya1)
Well I can certainly see why you have so many red gems. You are extremely naive and ignorant and mindless. It is clear to even a fool that the USA is not stabilizing the Middle East and that they have killed many innocent people!
You are saying that because you are biased against the USA. You may think I am mindless, but I don't want my country and my way of life being destroyed by Muslim terrorists.

Where is your evidence that the USA has killed many innocent people. I don't count terrorists as innocent, nor those people who harbor them.

That's BS. Drones are there to protect innocent lives. There aren't even that many drones.

It happened all the time while we had troops in the middle east. It happened recently in Libya when muslims invaded our embassy and they rioted when an American released a movie portraying Prophet Muhammad in a truthful (and unflattering) light. There are too many examples of muslim violence against Americans and the west.

Not really, what is apparent from this thread is simply that moslems here will ignore what is meeting the eye and what is not. largely they are defending actions of terrorists and islamists, purely on some twisted form of loyalty, instead of condemning them as the rest of the planet does. hence the reputation in the media etc. if it were non moslem terrorists doing these same crimes, they would denounce. but they cannot denounce other moslems or anything islamic, whether it is terorsim or not- becuase of these wraped world view. It is proven by reponses in this thread, people are trying to claim a false moral superiority in all current wars and conflicts moslems are invloved in around the world (and there are a lot). However in most cases none of it is reality and you cannot fool me. I have not claimed USA is perfect - but your default position is you would rather condemn the usa than a terorrist who attacks people whilst shouting some chant from the koran - this is a wrong and illogical view on world events.
    Naivety, yet again.

Muslims on TSR, include myself, spend much of their time denouncing such acts and explaining how they contradict Islam's teachings. And we aren't the only ones, countless imams have done so in their talks at the masaajid.

And when did I say that terrorism is more moral than the US intervention? Was this another instance in which I used telepathy, by any chance? Or alternatively is it a false assumption on your part?
Both are equally as disgusting. The only time I would comply with a so-called 'terrorist' in agreement with the Quran is if he were to fight back at the site of the oppression (eg in Afghanistan) and harm only those responsible for it (ie the army, officials directly concerned with the oppression, etc.). By no means, whatsoever is attack on innocents justifiable.

You didn't address the civil wars in Africa, particularly Nigeria and Sudan where there are huge divisions by religion. Somalia in particular is ruled by Sharia and has no tolerance for others to the extent that non Muslims are raped and killed.

The Zoroastrians were also drove out of their country of Iran due to Islamic conquest. You think they're bad too?

Israel has a right to exist as the land never belonged to Palestinians in the first place; it belonged to the Empires in charge of Jordan which in turn agreeed to partition off a piece of land for the Jews (who were quite populous to begin with, increasing emigration since the 1800s). The 1948 war was initiated by the Arab states of Syria and Egypt to help Palestine; the same thing happened during the Yom Kippur War (other Arab states also helped but it was normally Syria and Egypt doing the bulk of the aggression). Israeli emigration was increasing long before WWII and because there were 'too many', the Arabs iniated a war to try and cut down the numbers of Jews.

The nation of HINDUstan consisted of India,Pakistan and Bangladesh but like today, there is a huge degree of appeasement to Muslims even though, like back before partition, they were a minority.

Many Kashmiris want to be back with India. Kashmir was ruled by a Hindu Indian and only joined India due to Pakistan invading. True that some want to be part of Pakistan but that again is based on religion. The King of Kashmir was a Hindu and only joined India as Pakistan attacked Kashmir.

Bangladesh is racist and has taken away 40-75% of Hindu land and given it to Muslims. They are ungrateful for India fighting for them. 98% of Bangladeshi women who were raped were Hindu and since partition, Bangladesh's Hindu population has halved.

Pakistan's Hindu population has gone from over 20% since partition to under 2% today. Pakistan is racist toward Hindus in its media and is prejudice to Hindus, even giving them problems for pilgrimage purposes. Pakistan was responsible for the Taliban ruining Afghanistan as the Taliban came from there. Ahmed Shah Masoud, ally to the West, forwarned 9/11 and knew Pakistan's dealings in Afghanistan and knew Al Qaeda had struck an allegiance with the Taliban. Afghanistan has good friendship with the USA and India, even though India helped the Soviets. Why? Because Afghans and Indians dislike Pakistan and the only reason Karzai wants to keep Pakistan happy is because a fair amount of the population still likes Pakistan and they want to stay neutral (whether the population likes Taliban and Pakistan is irrelevant, the majority were against them when they were in power). Ahmed Shah Masoud was a friend and a true warrior, and he was Muslim so no hatred for Islam on my part!

Hiroshima was not a war crime as the Japanese would not have surrendered otherwise. It was not specifically an attack on civilians like 9/11 was.
World War II was an aggressive expansion of a nation; it differed to conventional Imperialism as it was based on hatred of certain groups. Not to mention alliances were drawn up at that point as opposed to informal alliances during colonisation (they were basically tribes with no identity)
Japan has one of the best economies in the World thanks to the USA helping them after defeat. Colonisation increased healthcare and education, India is on course to become one of the three biggest world economies.

Libya was not an illegal war as the UN approved it and there was no 'against' votes; Gaddafi literally bombed the hell out of protestors and was responsible for wars on Chad and Egypt while creating an extremely censored police state. Gaddafi's men literally took off oxygen masks from those in hospital. Before the Iraq war he was also against Israel and helping extremists in Palestine.
Assad is responsible for the death of over 50,000 people so Syria needs to have intervention.
Iraq used to have a large Jewish population but Muslims 'took' their land. Does that mean there should be Jewish suicide attacks in Iraq or in other Muslim countries for their support of Iraq? This was back in the late 1800s/early 1900s.For what happened in Israel, the Jews from Arab countries were expelled.
Hamas is a terrorist organisation and launched rockets into civilian areas of Israel due to the death of one of their leaders. Hamas is responsible for terrorist attacks such as the Palestinian bus bombings. Fatah's predecessor, the PLO was responsible for atrocities such as the Munich Massacre and were even kicked out of other Muslim countries (Jordan,Saudi Arabia and Kuwait) due to their aggression. The Intifadas also came from extremists who supported Palestine.

As well as the conflicts with India,Israel, the West and Africa, the man reason Islam is demonised is interpretations of Sharia law; Saudi Arabia, though it is getting better, forbids public practice of other religions and homosexuality under punishment of death. Iran is like this too as well as Somalia (but that's just civil unrest full stop). The more extreme groups require women to cover up completely and bans shorts on men even though in Makkah you're not allowed to be fully covered, proving that Burkha and Niqab are unnecessary and oppressive compared to Hijab.

Why is it that Saudi Arabia,Qatar,Kuwait,Lebanon,Jord anUAE,Oman and Bahrain (basically every Arab country except Yemen and Syria) is not anti Israel anymore and are friends with the USA? Only the non Arab Muslims of Iran,Turkey,Pakistan and Bangladesh, and the Arab countries of Yemen and Syria care about the 'plight' of the Palestinians. The majority of Arabs are slowly reducing barriers and boycotts of Israel.

So Islam is not the enemy, it's the non-Arab Muslims that create most problems and those who think it's ok to have suicide bombers and brainwash children.
Pfft, I also forgot to add a couple more actually:
    Mahmudiyah killings.
    Cold war.
Wiping out around 150 million aborigines in Australia.
Wiping out around 10 million Natives in America.
Europeans took around 180 million Black people as slaves of which around 88% died. This involved many kinds of tortures from rape to brutal beatings.
Mass killings of Muslims in Burma by Buddhists which the West continues to ignore. (Still going on).

So according to what you're saying Jordan should be the country trying to get rid of Israel because the Jews are occupying their land?
I hope you know that Israel is not just killing people in Palestine and demolishing their houses. They are attacking Lebanon also.

Israel as a country, a separate state did not even exist. It was just Jews that shared land with the Arabs. The Jews only just gained their independence in 1948 which is relatively recent. The Jews should be thanking the Arabs for actually giving them some land to live on when most countries in the world completely shunned them. Palestine has existed far far longer. The Palestinians will support Hamas because Hamas is fighting against Israel. Why don't you talk about Mossad? Israel has broken 65 UN resolutions with no consequences yet Iraq apparently broke two and was invaded, bombed and destroyed.
According to your logic, should Britain be given back to the 'original' inhabitants? Or the Native Americans should start a war with the 'new' Americans to get their land back?

"You know very well, and the stupid Americans know equally well, that we control their government, irrespective of who sits in the White House. You see, I know it and you know it that no American president can be in a position to challenge us even if we do the unthinkable. What can they (Americans) do to us? We control congress, we control the media, show biz, everything in America. In America you can criticize God, but you can't criticize Israel..." Israeli-nazi spokeswoman, Tzipora Menache.

Bangladesh/Pakistan are both predominantly Muslim. You will find more atrocities committed by India on Pakistan/Bangladesh than the other way around.

Are you stupid?! Kashmirs HATE India. Absolutely HATE them. Kasmir is also majority Muslim. If you want it that way, then India has had MANY Muslim kings. Should all the Hindus be exterminated?
Especially after incidents where the Indian army rapes their women and shoots civilians from the borders.
    http://www.presstv.ir/detail/2013/03...h-with-police/

Pakistanis condemn the atrocities committed by India against the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

How can you say that? More Pakistani soldiers have died by the hands of Indians recently than the other way around. Your Western media only shows Pakistanis as bad. In the partition, Muslim children and women were mutliated and tortured by the Hindus. You have no idea what kind of things they did. The Sikhs were amongst the worst who sided with the Hindus against the Muslims. Now the Sikhs are against Hindus and the Indian government and are protesting to be freed so they can have their own country known as Khalistan. They are being persecuted by Hindus in India. In the words of a Sikh:
"Should Sikhs have their own country, their own homeland?
A place where people won't kill Sikhs in fake encounters and no more rape of sikh women in the guise of "shuddhikaran".
No more attacks on Sikh civilian life and no more attacks on Sikh places of worship."

Ha, don't give me that 9/11 crap. You know my views on that.
You are so against Muslims, I bet you ignore the cases of rapes committed by Hindus EVERYDAY. Straight after the 23 year old woman was gang raped with a metal rod stuck up inside her, many cases of rapes have emerged. It seems even worse than before.

    http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/w...w/18853163.cms
    India against Sri Lanka.

Yes it was. UK/America/Canada decided to test their atomic bombs and wiped out 2 entire cities yet they were not targeting civilians? Your justifications of mass murder are sickening.
China has the best economy after America. Japan is a joke against it. And China hates America.

Also, you do know that America put a puppet in power in Iran by taking down a democratically elected president but the people rebelled against him and now they're happy with their present president but America and its allies are finding as many reasons as possible to justfiy war with them.

Gaddafi's army was fighting against the US funded terrorists there to make his country unstable to make him look like a bad dictator and to kill him. Have you got ANY idea what Gaddafi did for his people?
He was killed because he was proposing the use of gold for trading instead of petro dollars. Of course, the US did not want that especially seeing that many African countries seemed keen on the idea. Why is that wherever Western countries stick their nose, that place turns into a ****hole?

    1. There is no electricity bill in Libya; electricity is free
    for all its citizens.

    2. There is no interest on loans, banks in Libya are
    state-owned and loans given
to all its citizens at 0% interest by law. (Islamic)

    3. Home considered a human right in Libya --
    Gaddafi vowed that his parents
would not get a house until everyone in Libya had a
    home. Gaddafi's father has
died while him, his wife and his mother are still living
    in a tent.

    4. All newlyweds in Libya receive $60,000 Dinar (US$
    50,000 ) by the government
to buy their first apartment so to help start up the
    family.

    5. Education and medical treatments are free in
    Libya. Before Gaddafi only 25%
of Libyans are literate. Today the figure is 83%.

    6. Should Libyans want to take up farming career,
    they would receive farming
land, a farming house, equipments, seeds and
livestock to kick- start their farms
    -- all for free.

    7. If Libyans cannot find the education or medical
    facilities they need in Libya,
the government funds them to go abroad for it --
not only free but they get US
$2, 300/mth accommodation and car allowance.

    8. In Libyan, if a Libyan buys a car, the government
    subsidized 50% of the price.

    9. The price of petrol in Libya is $0. 14 per liter.

    10. Libya has no external debt and its reserves
amount to $150 billion -- now
    frozen globally.

    11. If a Libyan is unable to get employment after
    graduation the state would
pay the average salary of the profession as if he or
    she is employed until
    employment is found.

    12. A portion of Libyan oil sale is, credited directly to
    the bank accounts of all
    Libyan citizens.

    13. A mother who gave birth to a child receive US
    $5 ,000

    14. 40 loaves of bread in Libya costs $ 0.15

    15. 25% of Libyans have a university degree

    16. Gaddafi carried out the world's largest irrigation
    project, known as the Great
Man-Made River project, to make water readily
    available throughout the desert.

THIS is what I call a democracy. Not what the West is trying to promote. Rather, forcing it on people.
He wanted to create a 'United States of Africa'. He wanted to empower Africans. He wanted unity. Really, just look up his 'Man-Made River' project. How you would think he was a bad person even after knowing all this will totally prove your ignorance.

This is exactly what is happening in Syria. US funded groups are trying to take down Assad. His people support him.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-h-6CCE-Sew

One thing I don't understand about you people is WHY is it your problem that a country has certain laws? Saudi Arabia is the country with one of the lowest crime rates in the world. Why is it the West's problem that homosexualism is not allowed? And why do people forget the most Muslim women CHOOSE to wear the Hijab? Why don't you say that men are oppressed because they are required to keep beards? Or why a woman can wear silk and gold but a man is not allowed to? Or why Mothers are given 3 times more importance than fathers in Islam? It's none of your business what the rules of a certain country are. If they don't like it, they can move to New York where they can walk around freely with their tops off.

It's Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait and Jordan you're talking about who are friends of the US. They are known as traitors in the Muslim world.
You only said that the Muslim countries who DO NOT support America are the problem. That proves a lot. The countries that do not want their people being killed and their countries being invaded and destroyed by USA and its allies are the problem? Nice.

Syria, Libya, Afghanistan, Mali which of these countries have turned into a wonderful country after America or its allies have invaded them? None of them. In fact, more people have died than anything else.

I don't want to know what you have to say, I want proof in the Qur'an or sunnah to back up your false claims.

The first caliphs were voted by clan elders and respected religious scholars.

Freedom of speech was allowed in many caliphates/dynasties and people criticised Islam openly, As well as the caliphs themselves.

So on all counts you are wrong.

Your values may not be the same as your neighbor's and to force your values on them would be contradictory to your values. Ironic, huh?

SIalm doesnt have a concept of 'democracy' in fact moslems are told voting is 'haram (bad) and not way of the sunnah.
We do have a "voting" system in the loosest of sense.

in islam you have a religious commander and he otders and everyone else follows.
Which he himself must also follow.

This is effective a dictactorship, but then this is a system practiced in the middle ages.
    Research the definition of "dictatorship"...

But moslems are confused know becuase they want to overturn existing dictatorships,
Which were supported by numerous Western Governments who oppressed their people to satisfy their Western puppet masters.

for the vote ( which in itself unislamic).
    Actually, no.

islamist terrorists want the caliphate - which is jsut another name for an islamic dictatorship,
Will these "Islamic terrorists" be above the law?
Will these "Islamic terrorists" make their own law?

they also want that calphate to start expanding islamic teritory (which is what the caliphs used to do)
    Not every Caliph.

However when that dictator goes beserk there is no mechanism for voting him out like in democracy,
How do you "vote out" a President who decides to nuke a country because he doesn't like their national flag?

apart form civil war, whcih permeates througouht islams history.
    Uh huh.

It's not propaganda. The USA has done a lot of good in the middle east.

You are saying that because you are biased against the USA. You may think I am mindless, but I don't want my country and my way of life being destroyed by Muslim terrorists.

Where is your evidence that the USA has killed many innocent people. I don't count terrorists as innocent, nor those people who harbor them.
How many terrorists have they killed and how is your peace being ruined? Why would your troops be fighting for YOUR freedom in a different country? Shouldn't they be protecting their own borders in case something does happen? Give me your evidence of how America has showered its favours upon the people of this earth.

That's BS. Drones are there to protect innocent lives. There aren't even that many drones.
The number of children killed by drones doubled from 2010 to 2011. 100s of children have died and over 900 people have been killed by drones. The countries include Yemen/Pakistan/Afghanistan/Somalia.

It happened all the time while we had troops in the middle east. It happened recently in Libya when muslims invaded our embassy and they rioted when an American released a movie portraying Prophet Muhammad in a truthful (and unflattering) light. There are too many examples of muslim violence against Americans and the west.
You really shouldn't be crying when your people provoked the Muslims. Action ---> Reaction.
You're weeping about one person dying when Muslims are dying everyday..

Again untrue- but thanks for illustrating exactly my point. By readint ghe thread you can see the moslems on it have all not denounced islamists, rather they try re-direct aggression toward USA (when the thread has nothing to do with US). And then they make up stats and ignore the truthful ones- ie that islamists killed more moslems than any US soldier or drone. US have successfully killed more islamists than any moslem force, so it also shows who is motivated to reduce terrorists. Most of us non partizan people that excersise common sense know we would rather US reduce islamist fanatics, and the media reports that fact. it is evident that there is warped bias , and you illustrate this, by putting false spin on conflicts- others have about other wars involving moslems, you have mentioned "oppression (eg in Afghanistan" when there is none in afgan, US went there to take out terroists and taelban that threatened them, and are there at request of afgan government. If they actually wanted to conquer and "oppress Afghanistan" they could do so easily with a succession of air strikes and napalm obliterating afgans forces, and also paksitan too. The reason they are instead using tiny drones and special froces is that they are chasing cowardly islamists that hide behind woemn and children , which is why casualties occur. Hypocracy is also illustrated when for example, a western school teacher names a bear mohammed, a thousand moslems march angrily on streets accross the moslem world and attack embassies. When an islamist attacks moslems in an iraq, afganistan, sudan etc killing hundreds on a daily basis, moslems are silent. This the reason why terrorism is festered in moslem society and why also media links the two.

where did the other caliphs live, in a whole inthe ground? what about ottomans- ever heard of the sultans and their palaces?what do you think that osama bin laden would have lived his whole life in a cave out of choice? where did the amercians find him? in a house worth more than a million dollars surrounded by poverty stirken moslems in paksitan.no moslems stopped the caliphs running islam, in the same way none stop islamists today. That is why USA feels obligated.
Brilliant, absolutely brilliant! It just fascinates me how you attempted the circular reasoning to bring Osama into the discussion. Bravo!

Osama lived in a cave to avoid getting assassinated, was that not obvious to you? lol

You make me laugh. How do you suggest that these 'caliphs' living in luxury, with palaces and guards and money beyond their requirements would be stopped by the peasants?

Why does nobody stop islamists? Many reasons: corrupt presidents, hidden agendas of foreign powers, hidden location of the terrorists, etc. etc.

Lol you're like an American puppy. Just the fact that you think Osama was killed in Abbotabad shows how you can't be taken seriously. You are seriously lacking in both knowledge and understanding of the matters at hand.

How old are you, out of interest?

Politicians give the masses someone to hate and battle because (current) human nature is such that the masses are excited by war/violence (including anti-war protests), and they like being on a team, they like feeling superior and they like dominating others. Masses like feeling justified of their ideology/religion and when there is something different it makes them doubt and doubt is something they don't wish to feel.

In my opinion war is a mass masturbation that sick humanity feels the need to do every few years and currently there is a mass subconscious desire for a really big war (mass masturbation). Humanity is like a sexually unfulfilled young man who has to masturbate every so often. You may disagree but like masturbation, war is a release of energy. Masses are unfulfilled by their work, by their marriages and are tired of all the crap they recieve which manifests within a person in penned up violent energy. Masses release this energy with such things as supporting/identifying with a football team and cheering them on every weekend when 'their' team goes to war.

America (though not just them) is dependant on this formula. As long as the masses identify with Team USA, they will be less likely to request real freedom and less likely to give problems to politicians, priests and corporations. As long as the masses indentify with Team USA (or whatever nationalist concept) they will willingly continue being slaves to capitalism/society, infact the masses will fight to protect their slavery.

Anwar al-Awlaki , Mohamed el Sayed, for a start. Two Saudi Al-quaeda arabia commanders hit just yesterday - there have been countless islamists been blown up by drones in middle east, afganistan and paksitan, clearly you have no clue about. .
It's always about US officials say this, US officials say that. Where's the proof?! Show it to us!
Great though, two terrorists compared to over 1000 of civilians killed with drones. If there were two serial killers in a building with 2000 others, would you bomb the whole building down? No.

Now name just ONE person that an Islamist has killed that wasnt an innocent civilian? Then tell me who is worseYes of course,
    Pfft, what Islamists?

]claerly all these places were wonderful beforehand:rolleyes: - apart form the fact that muslims in syria, libya etc have begged USA for their military intervention.
No they didn't. Assad and Gaddafi were supported by their people.
    Syria: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-h-6CCE-Sew

Saddam gassed kurds and killed hundred so fthousands- something it seems you dont want to comment on, Islamist terrorists killed more in iraq than any that died in the invasion.
He was a puppet of the USA at that time. He did what they told him to do. The Americans were secretly supporting both sides. But when Saddam Hussein rebelled against the Americans, he was killed. Americans have killed more people than they claimed Saddam did.

bin laden was found sitting in a million dollar house down the road form the Pakistan Intelligence headquarter. Afgan Talenban pointblank refusd to hand over bin laden after 9-11 attacks and gave him shleter. There is your answer, usa were given no choice. It is this complicity of muslims with terrorism you are now describing that is the reason of islams image in the media is it not.dont go off the topic, is this about islamic terrorism or colonial past?
Where is your proof that Bin Laden was found in Pakistan?

You dont think islam had its hand in slave trade or colonies too lol, much more than USA? do some reading about it.
You're talking about prisoners of war turned slaves. In Islam, you're meant to treat slaves good as well. Clothe them from what you have and feed that from what you have. Not like how the Europeans raped, tortured and killed African slaves.
